Are you enjoying the Holiday weekend? I sure am.
I browsed thru eBay early this morning, looking at Halloween postcards and toys.
They have some nice choices, but are a little pricey.
Cooked a good lunch. Rotel Chicken Casserole.
(This is their pic, we ate most of mine~!)
Finished reading this book this morning.
It is worth the time, very good.
Then I downloaded this one on my Kindle.
And this. Just came out this morning, and they say it is the best Patterson has ever written.
I will be away for awhile, I'm having knee replacement surgery this Friday.
I hope I'm up and running soon, and back to reading my favorite blogs,
Bye for now,
Love from me and Wilma

Good luck on your knee replacement surgery...I know how awful knee pain can be. I wish you a speedy recovery and blessings to take with you. Thanks for recommending some more great books...you're the best! =D
Will be praying for your surgery, love you.
Good luck on that knee replacement.
And any luck of getting that recipe for that Chicken Rotel Casserole?
Hey! I have given you an award today, check out my post! You deserve it! (And you don't HAVE to do a darn thing with it, just know that you are spreading sunshine into my life and into others!)
Love,
KAY
Blessings to you on your surgery. Keep us posted as to how it goes. Miss Wilma will keep you company for sure. Love those Halloween cards...smiles...Renee
I love old postcards..those Halloween ones are just great! I have a few Easter ones, but like you say they can be quite costly to buy some of them.
I hope the surgery goes well, take care :)

All the best for your knee surgery - the hardest thing about something like that is to find the right balance between patience (accepting your own limits) and getting back on track as soon as possible.
All the best for your surgery.
I love the Halloween cards. We don't really celebrate it quite the same over here, so I haven't really noticed any cards before.
Hi Dorothy-
I'm sorry to hear that you have surgery coming up...though I suppose you're looking forward to having a pain-free knee! I'll be thinking about you...as I lay here in my cast from my ankle surgery! Haaa! Aren't we a pair? Good thing we have our doxies by our sides!
Take Care,
Erica :)

Hey there! I got a little envelope in the mail today and when you didn't list your blog I had a doozy of a time trying to remember where you came from! Thanks so much for sending the booklet! I need to get my doll out a do a little 'photo shoot' with her! I have several of the outfits in the booklet! THANKS SO MUCH!!!
Thank you, Dorothy, for your kind comments on my blog. I am so glad to have found you, too! Your blog is a delight.
I hope your knee replacement surgery goes well. I have so many friends that have had it done and are now doing better than ever.
My husband and I love BBC...Downton Abbey, Doc Martin, Lark Rise to Candleford...and, several others.
As you begin the healing process I'm sure you will be devouring some wonderful tales cover to cover.
Blessings to you,
Carolynn
I love all the vintage images and cute pets and the food of course. Have a great day!
Oh, God bless you my friend, knee replacement surgery can be such a good thing. I know it will take time to recover, so just take it easy and I will keep you in my prayers. Your Rotel chicken looks yummy, by the way!
Blessings,
Susie
