HALLOWEEN SPOOLIE SWAP

It's Spoolie Swap time again!!
Isn't this little crow perched on top of the spool adorable!!
And look at the little bat house all decorated!
Thank You, Judy at 20 North Ora, I love it!
And they are decorated with book pages, I love this, I brought them to work at the library to display for everybody to enjoy.

Look at the little bats flying around the birdhouse, TOO CUTE!
I always enjoy seeing everyone's different creative ideas, that's the most fun part of it to me!

She also sent this pretty Happy Halloween banner!

How festive is this?

Look at the cute cookie cutters Judy included!
I showed my husband and he said "why didn't I open them and whip him up some sugar cookies real quick with them"?  LOL

I enjoy these "Spoolie" swaps so much, I could do one for every holiday!

Here's a peak at the one I sent to Judy.

I do enjoy Halloween!

It's new book day at the Library.
So many to choose from, I'm going to miss this part of my job when I retire.

Especially since I do all of the ordering!

I'm reading about four different books right now, I confuse myself.....

THANK YOU JUDY FOR THE FUN SWAP!
I always get the best partners.

And THANK YOU, DEB, AT GARAGE SALE GAL for hosting!

Have a great week, everyone.

Dorothy and Ms.Wilma

I really enjoy the swaps! I missed a couple this summer...never again! You and your partner really came up with fun designs. I am always amazed at the variety and the talent of the ladies I follow. I hope you will continue to recommend good books...I consider you my personal librarian. I am always looking for a great new author to follow.

Love the bat house and the banner! That is an idea (the bat house) I can even see myself using, although I am normally not one for much in terms of decorative objects.

I can imagine you'll miss your job when you retire. My time at the library is so long ago (left there in 1992), but I still miss it sometimes.

Hi Dorothy! So lovely to have you stop by and say hello. This was always such a fun swap to participate in. Your spools received are terrific, and yours sent sooo cute!
What a dream to work in a library! I have always loved my weekly visits and the hunt for the next best read. I think you must have the only job you truly can retire from and still visit "the office" whenever you like!
Happy Fall! Elizabeth

Hello! Catching up with your blog today! On your library books - Sue Grafton is a favorite - She is my 'If you like Janet Evanovitch you'll love -" recommendation. The vintage car show a few posts up - looks fun. When I lived in Michigan we always went to the Harper Cruise in St Clair Shores and the Woodward Cruise. Always a fun time and so many friendly people! Have a blessed week. Angles to you!
