Early Christmas

I found these vintage Christmas lights last week on eBay.

They still work and there are some pink light bulbs on the string.

The box is as pretty as the lights!

They told us to decorate our department at work this week, so I put up a tree...
On the bulletin board!

I can't keep it a secret any longer, this is my early Christmas gift!!
A new doxie pup.
It's a boy and we haven't decided on a name yet.

And this is the ugly face little Ms. Wilma made every time the pup got close to mama!
Nothing like sibling rivalry...
Wilma needed extra petting all weekend long to get over this, poor baby.

She was actually running around playing with the pup this morning as I left for work.

She's usually such a sweet little lady.

This is a shot of my kitchen in the new house.
We spent Thanksgiving holiday there.
I work for 2 more weeks, have a week of vacation for Christmas
and then we move in for good.

I can't decide how I want to decorate the dining room.
Do I want shabby chic white?
Or Primitive?

I have a primitive cabinet, lots of old baskets, wooden bowls and things like this pic from Pinterest.

And I have an old Hoosier cabinet similar to this one from Pinterest.

Our dining table is similar to this one, wouldn't it be fun to paint it white and go with shabby chic?
I haven't decided, any suggestions??

This is a pic of my chairs and pedestal table. I plan to recover the chair seats but I'm just not sure about painting the chairs.
On that blank wall is where the china cabinet is going.
And possibly the Hoosier too.

So many possibilities,
I can hardly wait to get started.

Have a wonderful week,
Dorothy and Ms.Wilma
and baby Doxie

Ms. Wilma, what sharp pointy teeth you have!

You'll decide and it will be great. We've been doing some moving around and I recovered 1 chair seat and 2 stools this past weekend.

hahahahah My sister and I are laughing so hard at the pic of Miss Wilma right now! That is EXACTLY what I've always envisioned Wellie doing if I ever got another doxie. Poor little girl. But your baby boy is so darn cute, and they will be best buds real soon! I can't wait to hear his name. We have a friend with 3 doxies...Willie, Scotch, and Rolo. She used to have Stogie and Limo! Such cute names.
I'm headed out the door but going to revisit this post later so I can look at your x-mas things.

Ms. Wilma is hilarious...but she probably doesn't think it's as funny as we do...lol! I think your chairs would be wonderful painted, though I know it's hard to commit to such a change. I know whatever you do will be wonderful!

Oh my, I literally laughed out loud when I saw Ms. Wilma. They really do get jealous. New baby is adorable, glad to hear they started playing.

How fun moving and re-decorating! I did that when we moved to VA. Love the white hoosier, and everything stands out and looks good on them.
I'm taking your package to PO tomorrow morning. They're talking snow for the afternoon, ugh.

How exciting to have a new house. I think the shabby chic sounds good and you can always mix vintage things and prim with it, too. Sweet hugs!

The box for the Christmas lights is lovely, and I really like your Christmas "tree" at the office! Now, where do all the bulletins go while the bulletin board is busy otherwise? :-)

Sweet little doxie pup! Can't blame Wilma for being jealous, it is a bit much for her, isn't it; all this time, she's been the only one, now the new house AND a "rival"...

Not sure if I'd paint the chairs, the wood looks lovely as it is.

Hi, Dorothy! Maybe you should just draw a style out of a hat and go with that! :) I don't even know *what* to call my style! ♥

Miss Wilma!
I Baby Bear know just how you feel! When my family brought home that little wiener Hunter last year! Can you imagine the nerve! You know I am the center of attention. But I have to admit, he is a lot of fun and has become my favorite play mate! I love him, and everyone still loves me too!
Merry Christmas,
Baby Bear
