Glitter Eggs

I've been making glitter paper mache eggs this week.

I have smaller eggs I'm working on next week.

Easy and fun to make.

This flowering shrub is growing at the corner of my new house.
Does anyone know what it is?
I've never seen one like this before.

This is another picture.
It has buds all along the stems.

Happy Spring!

I first thought the flowering shrub could be (red or black) currants, but when I compared your picture with some I googled, I wasn't so sure anymore.

Gorgeous photos, spring has arrived at your house. No help on the flowers, sorry, but they're beautiful.

Love your glitter eggs, beautiful! I'm enjoying my new treasures from you.

Your glitter eggs are beautiful. They remind me of the sugared eggs that you can look into and see a little scene (remember those)? Your flowering tree is gorgeous.

My aunt Ruby used to make those beautiful sugar eggs ya'll are talking about. I would love to learn how to make them myself! She also baked and decorated those pretty cakes for Easter shaped like a little lamb. I have a cake pan for this, maybe I'll try to bake one for Easter this year.

I believe you are right, JR. I was browsing thru a plant catalog and saw a pic of weigela and it's the closest I've seen. It looks just like the pic, just mine has a pink blush.

I see some others know more about flowers than I do but they are beautiful. Love your fun craft project, too! Have a blessed week my friend! Sweet hugs!
