We're getting ready for Memorial Day.
How about you?
I made a new wreath for the front door.
And hung my beautiful bunting from www.thecustards.blogspot.com
Finally unpacked some more of my dishes today, too.
I love pink!
My brother is doing the BBQ this year.
I can't wait to see family and friends.
Ms.Wilma, Bam Bam and I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day Week-end.
Hugs,
Dorothy

You have been busy ... moving is a big chore ! The main thing I am doing for Memorial day, besides being thankful, is sitting !

Love that pretty wreath! I hope you have a terrific summer. Enjoy your weekend.
Hi Dorothy! How fun that you're trying to furnish your Marx house! So, here is what I can tell you about scale. I believe that 3/4 scale is usually the correct scale for tin dollhouses. I think that 1/2 scale is even smaller. It's confusing because there's also 1/12th scale, but that's done in a different way. 1/12th means that every one inch is equal to a "real" 12 inches. But the furniture that is a bit smaller than that is referred to as 3/4 scale. The way I would do things is to measure the ceiling height of your house. It's probably around 5" or 6". If you consider that a real ceiling is about 8 feet (or 8" in 1/12 scale), that makes the tin house's ceiling a bit shorter, so all the furniture should be a bit smaller in scale as well.
So, I've either helped you out or confused you even more!! I hope it's the former! :)
I love the wreath you made for your front door!
Hope you are having a lovely Spring! xx
