Valentines and Clowns

I don't know about where you are
but it is cold down here in the deep South.
I found this little sweater set for one of my dolls at
the thrift store today.

I also hit the jackpot on clowns today at the thrifts.
The owner of the store said she found them in the attic
of the house they bought.
Previous owners didn't know anything about them and didn't
want them either.

There were some cute tins in the lot.

And lots of blow mold clown banks from the fifties and sixties.
They don't look scary at all!

It's about time to start Valentine crafting.
I found this pretty pink dish today too.

I'm going to go try to find a warm spot
and cuddle up with Ms. Wilma.

Stay Warm
and crafty.

Thank you, Beverly,
for featuring me on

Happy Pink Saturday

Oh, my heart skipped a couple of beats. I am a clown, seriously, professional. The plate shown looks like a couple of master clowns that I have met and they have passed. The photo in the back I would love to see closer. What will you do with these great finds.

That is so awesome, Debby! I bought them to give to my son, he loves to dress up like a clown at Halloween, he lives in New Orleans, so they get a little crazy down there!

Hi Dorothy, your finds are amazing. I find that the reaction to clowns is very funny. People either love them or absolutely hate them and are ready to tell you why, LOL. I have always thought clowns were wonderful. I remember one post that I did after going to a Shrine Circus, I had a photo of me with two of the clowns, and I had followers saying things like, "that would scare them to death".
Well, I think that you hit the jack-pot and that your vintage clowns are delightful.
Thanks for visiting and putting your name in the hat for my Give-A-Way, good luck :)
