Spring has arrived at my house. Some of my amaryllis are in bloom and the roses have started to show off!
The Knockout roses are already in full bloom. That is a running pink New Dawn to the right of the Knockouts. It is full of blooms. I'm training it to grow on the porch banister. I've hung a pot of sweet smelling petunias over them.
Mr. Rooster.
Pete planted 75 tomatoes and peppers already! I know what I'll be doing this summer! Canning!!
And here are two good books to read when you finish dyeing Easter eggs this week-end. Oldies but still good.
I'm going to the fish camp this weekend (have to go show my husband how to catch some fish! lol ) We have no little ones to hide eggs with or take to church, but one of my sons is coming up to spend time with us Saturday.
Happy Easter
Till next time,
love from me and Wilma

How lovely the roses are, I can't believe they are blooming already, mine are only just waking up after winter. I do like New Dawn. I have one of these, although it is looking a bit battered as husband replaced a fence panel close by recently; I am sure it will recover.
I am not familiar with either of those authors, but the covers alone would make me pick them up.
I wish we had room for all those peppers and tomatoes!
I hope you have a very Happy Easter.
Your roses are blooming early and are beautiful. I like that garden you have too very nice! There is nothing like a homegrown tomato and the canned ones, are so much better than any of that bitter stuff you buy in the supermarket...enjoyed your post.

All of your flowers are beautiful! I want to plant some tomatoes too, just not that many! I'd better get started!
WOw, you must have quite a garden! Your flowers are beautiful.
My amaryllis just started blooming too.
75 tomato and pepper plants...WOW!
Happy Easter!

Very lovely.
Indeed your amaryllis are so beautiful, and deserve to be shown off. In Singapore, I had to simulate winter by digging them up and wrapping in newspaper.
Your amaryllis plants and rose bush are just stunning.!
Wow you sure are going to have the tomatoes and peppers :) I usually grow some hanging cherry tomatoes in pots...they are really nice with roasted veg.
Have a great Easter x

Don't you just love amaryllis time? Those big splashy blooms really start the season off with a bang. Is that second picture 'Papillion'? I'm disappointed that mine hasn't bloomed so far this spring. But 'Red Lion' never disappoints!
Your roses are fabulous! Have a wonderful Easter and thanks for linking up to Share the Love Wednesday!

This is a lovely post. We don't get those kind of blooms here for another month or two so we'll enjoy yours for now! I have not read either of those books but am going to check them out -- Don't often have too much time to read these days for fun but I sure love to! Have a Happy Easter!
Luv the flowers.
Ya'll are going to have lots of good food!
Happy Easter.

Thanks, Susie. That fabric arrived next day after ordering it! It is sooo cute. I may take it to the camp with me this week-end and make it. I can't wait to see it hanging in my kitchen. thanks for getting the info for me, that must be a really nice quilt shop!
