Happy Pink Saturday
Those few pale Autumn flowers,
How beautiful they are!
Than all that went before,
Than all the Summer store,
How lovelier far!
Pale flowers! perishing flowers!
I woo your gentle breath--
I leave the Summer rose
For younger, blither brows;
Tell me of change and death.

Have a great weekend.
Love the zinnias! One of my all time favorite summer lowers. Beautiful pics!
The pictures are lovely - but at least here in Germany, autumn flowers are anything but pale, quite the contrary :-) We have rich yellows and oranges and reds and browns and golds on the chrysanthemums and many others, I love this time of the year!
Beautiful pictures. If only summer could stay a few more weeks.
Beautiful flowers - the one that is not yet open caught my breath and startled me - how amazing God's hand in something so simple as a flower . . .
You picked a great set of photos and verse! Happy Pink Saturday to ya.
