Christmas House Swap

Blog swaps are so much fun. Look at this gorgeous Putz House Chris sent to me.
And her house lights up! Love that.

She used aquarium pebbles for the chimney. How creative is that?
And look at Santa going down the chimney. Sweet.

She made ornaments for the tree.

And a stocking stuffed with Mary Englebreit goodies.

This was a fun swap, I enjoyed it a lot.
Thank you Chris Little @ www.alittlecreations.blogspot.com

And thanks to Erica at www.goldeneggvintage.blogspot.com
for hosting the swap.

Y'all know I've been to eBay this week, this turned out to be the cutest coloring book, it has adorable graphics.

These are some of my wins this week.

1950's coloring book. I get these unused but I swear I always want to sit right down and start coloring in them when they arrive. (LOL, I don't!)

My mother must have loved tea sets because my sister and I got one every year when we were little.

We made playhouses outside  under the trees at the edge of the woods with pine straw and tree limbs, anything we could find!

I didn't win the piano I showed last week, but I did get this one, and it looks just like my real piano. Even the white padded bench is just like mine!

These squeaky toys are not for Ms. Wilma.

I'm still bidding on these vintage Christmas candy boxes.
Love the pictures on them.

And OH!
Have you been to Erica's Etsy shop?

Look what I found there:

She made this bird ornie and he is going on my vintage silver tree this year.

And so are these cuties.

She has lots of cute things in her shop, loved the little Santa she sent!

I'm linking with Beverly for Pink Saturday at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Have a great weekend,
Dorothy and Ms. Wilma

Your Christmas is going to be like stepping through a time machine, back into the late 1940's and 1950's. It will be a great place to remanence over childhood memories :)

Great fun!!!
Your blogging sister, Connie :)

Hi Dorothy,

Wow, you got some darling treasures this week. Lucky you!! I really love the Mary Engelbreit Scottie! The Christmas Putz house is darling, as well. My family belongs to the Moravian church, and the Putz houses are very popular in the Moravian community. Most of the churches set up an entire Putz village at Christmastime.

Thanks so much for becoming a follower on my blog; I'm now following yours as well. MacDuff is flattered that you think he's handsome. :) We love him, and believe me, he's quite a little character.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Your swap is wonderful, so much detail in that little house.
I do like the vintage pictures in the colouring books, especially any connected to Christmas. I used to be in seventh heaven if I had a colouring book and a set of crayons.
