Chummy Got Married

Chummy married her police officer!
Wilma and I cried.

You can watch it again today in full length on www.pbs.org

Some of my eBay finds.

I lost my head a little bidding on this one.

I'm looking forward to looking thru this scrapbook.

Papier Mache 1930's toy.
He's a little scary looking.
I've read too much Stephen King.

I like collecting these old children's toy sewing machines.

Kissing Thumbelina is sweet.

Hope you have a great week.
From me and Ms. Wilma

Is Chummy from the midwife series? I just ordered the DVD. I love British television! I agree...the clown is evil...I love it!

I love vintage smelly scrapbooks, um, I love the cards! I carefully remove the cards and put them in clear view page protectors with a piece of paper in the middle, I can pop in two or three cards on each side. Love to use them in my paper crafts! Congrats, who cares if you 'went a little' over!

Clowns I have always found scary, without knowing any of the Stephen King books, and I don't know who Chummy is, but Thumbelina is really sweet :-)

Wow, what a lot of Christmas goodies! The clown is a little cute and creepy! We got a clown figurine for a wedding gift, and got rid of it because it creeped me out! Is that bad? Love the pretty dolly!
Hi Wilma!

Susie

You know I love everything you bought! The cards are wonderful but of course if I come over, I will want to play with the doll, blocks and sewing machine. Do you share? heehee! Hugs!

I read that Jennifer Worth once said that if ever her books were dramatised she would like Miranda Hart to play Chummy. It is an excellent series.

Oh...Just look at all the vintage treasures you have shared. I know that I can get myself in hot water really quickly on EBay...but, it sure is a lotta fun.
I am anxious to check out your PBS series. I love anything from that era.
Have a great day, my friend,
Blessings,
Carolynn

Love that you love Call the Midwife
- a friend of mine met Chummy (aka Miranda) backstage at the Diamond Jubilee concert here in the UK and I am pleased to report that she is as charming and funny in real life as on the telly! She made a little video for us down a mobile phone!
Best wishes
Jenny
