Happy Memorial Day-say Thank you to a Veteran

Hope you enjoy your Memorial Day Holiday.
Remember to say "thank you" to our Veterans.

My dad was a Korean War Vet. His dad fought in WWI, his dad fought in the Civil War,his grand-dad fought in the American Revolution.
I have two nephews who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Two uncles with Purple Hearts, Silver Stars, medals of honour from Vietnam. Six uncles in the service.
Even if you are not a war supporter we should all take the time to say thanks to our Vets on this day, they put their lives in harms way for us.

Temps in the 90's today and our Air Conditioner went OUT last night!
This is what Dothan thinks of the whole thing.
Thank goodness the repairman is on the way!!
Poor man is working on his holiday.

Pete's grand-dad had a saying about hot days like today. He would say "stir easy".
Good Advice.

Ms. Wilma told me she needed a wading pool. Can you believe that? She's so spoiled.
Hmmm, wonder how cool it is at Wal-Mart?

See y'all later,
have a blessed and wonderful day
from me and Ms. Wilma

Dorothy been a while since I have visited. Oh how I love your headboard. It is just gorgeous.
I love this post about your family history of serving our country. This is certainly a day for thanking our women and men for their making it possible for us to live the way we do today.
Right now Green Beret is showing on TV and it really brings back my memories of friends who I lost in Viet Nam.
Glad I came by today.
Hopefully your well and having a good weekend.
Love
Maggie

Thank you very much, Denise. I am so thankful that I never had to worry about my four sons being in a war. They came after the Vietnam era and before Iraq. My poor grandmother had 6 boys in service!

Hi Maggie! Yes we were of the Viet Nam war era, and lost so much. Thank you for stopping by, I'm going to go on over and see what you have been up to!
Have a great week,
love from me and Ms. Wilma
