Summer's Almost Over

Welcome to my blog this weekend.
Beverly is featuring my blog at Pink Saturday.

The days will soon be getting a little shorter...

The time for gathering seashells will be coming to an end.

Time to pack up our collections.

The tomatoes have just about quit in the garden....

The butterflies are getting ready to leave.
But behind every cloud,
there's a Pink lining......

School is about to begin!!

Have a wonderful Pink Saturday, everyone.
We hope you enjoyed your visit.
from me and Ms. Wilma

Kids start school so much sooner than in the 'olden days'. But we'll keep summer a little longer here in FL. Enjoy your weekend, my friend!

Happy Pink Saturday!

Lovely background for your blog. And, cute blog name. (There are so many creative and cute blog names, aren't there?)

I see wonderful images on your sidebar as I'm typing this comment. I'll have to browse a bit more.

I enjoyed reading your profile. I can imagine that being a librarian does really cause for celebration when you see a child learn to read. I spent a ton of time in the library at school when I was growing up. The ladies who ran the libraries were great friends. I also thoroughly enjoyed my reading teacher - many moons ago. She reminded me of a pony-tailed barbie - w/cat-eye glasses. Working on reading skills was fun in her class. Plus, I taught my little brother to read and was tickled to pieces when he "got it". Can you tell, I like to read too? And, write!

Well, I enjoyed your post and my stroll down memory lane. I'm seeing that Simplicity pattern and thinking, I had that pattern . . . many moons ago! ??

Happy Pink Saturday!

The days have already started to become shorter... I notice that especially when I go running in the evenings, I can't leave it too late now, and it gets considerably cooler as well.
But I love this time of the year as well, with all its abundance of fruit and vegetables in the gardens!

Oh, wow, your shell collection! We NEVER get all those kind of shell shapes on our beaches, althuogh there are beautiful coloured shells to be found in some areas of the British Isles - usually in fragments but the colours are so wonderful it hardly matters. And collectable at any time of year.

I never put my shells away! Summer here has been so unpleasant that I'm really hoping for a very long, beautiful fall. It seems as if I was trapped in the house most of the summer because of the heat...today, it is in the 70's and just my idea of perfect.
