Vegetable Gardening

Are you planting a vegetable garden this year?

We have English peas and potatoes up.

Turnip greens growing.

My chickens are laying like crazy.

The amaryllis' are in full bloom.

Spring has sprung at our house!

Wilma and I have been very busy in the garden.

Sneak peek at some of our "vintage craft supply swap" that went out this week.

Cute papers found on eBay.

Let not your heart be troubled,
Have a great week-end and

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY

Lovely to see all those plants growing - ours are very, very, very slow - all this cold is not doing any favours. I shall keep ploughing our furrow in the hope that the seeds will come good eventually
Best wishes and peace from across the oceans

Beautiful photos! We are going to try and do little container gardens this year as we don't have a ton of room to dig up here. Renting is lovely with no repairs but you're limited on what you can do. :)

Your garden looks a whole lot better than mine.

Wow, look at the eggs.

The weather is not not co-operating with gardening here but I'm hoping to get peas in next week. Even the chickens are behind in their molt and the eggs are few and far between. We need spring!

Another couple of weeks and my garden will be planted, at least the vegetable part. For the moment I am enjoying the blooming things.

Nothing better than fresh produce from your own garden. I was born and raised on a farm and we had one each year. I do not have space suitable for one now.

Hello and good morning. Thank you for following me and I am so glad to meet you. I am following you back too!
Looks like your garden is taking off too. Are you near the south - turnip greens? I am from Atlanta, GA area.
Beautiful flowers there too.
And I like your vintage craft.

Beautiful flowers and so nice to see your vegetables growing. I don't do a vegetable garden, only flowers. But so far the garden is still covered with snow.
Have a great weekend.

Love having a garden, and are just about ready to start planting ours. I missed that swap, looks like a fun one. Great post!
