Tomatoes Anyone?

So, my hubby is retired, home alone, and bored.
What does he do?
Throws up a hothouse out of scraps he finds around the barn.

He keeps telling me to go and look at his little plants growing.

I finally got the chance to go look at his hothouse.
Every seed he planted has come up!

He even rooted roses.

Oxalis flowers coming up on the floor.

He also planted long rows of sunflowers around the yard, I can't wait to see them blooming.

There must be 500 tomato plants growing in here!

Dill, squash, watermelons.

I know what Wilma and I will be doing this summer...

We'll be filling the old pie safe up with jars of tomatoes!

I saw this on Pinterest, don't know who to credit it to.
But this is the next fridge I want.
I have mothers old Philco in the barn, it still works.
My son says they cost a fortune to get restored and painted, I don't know.
(I know I don't have a fortune, though!)

Hope you are having a wonderful day,
Oh, I'm working on my stash swap box,
FUN!!

Hugs from me and Ms.Wilma

Wow! That is impressive! Wish I could get my retired husband to throw up a green house. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening.

Everything seems to be thriving in your husband's hot house! You will be mighty busy canning tomatoes this summer.

Just a little note to let you know that your "stash box" is on its way! Didn't pay priority though, so maybe by the end of the week. Sure hope you like it!!! =D We had snow this morning but our tomatoes are still cozy out in the garden...walls-o-water work great! We get tomatoes by june this way even though we are not a southern state...lol!

My Dad (along with everyone else over here) has been waiting for spring to arrive properly, so that we can finally open the "season" at the allotment again! He grows tomatoes there, too, and plenty of other fruit, veg and herbs.
That fridge is beautiful! Maybe having your old one restored won't be that expensive. If I were you, I would at least inquire.
