Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon

Good Morning

Today I'm posting pictures that my son took in Saigon. He is an English teacher in Phnom Penh with the Language Corp and these are some photos he has sent home. I just thought they would be interesting to look at today. It's  been so cloudy and gloomy in S. Alabama, everyone is about to go stir crazy! My cat doesn't even want to go outside.

This is a statue of the angel, Apsara, who distracts devils so other angels can get their work done. (I need one of these)!

A clock made on the grass.

And these are street scenes of Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon.

Can you see the little monkey in the grass?

As a person of the sixties, I never imagined I would have a child living in Cambodia or visiting Saigon. The world changes daily.

I have a son living in New York City, next time maybe I'll post some of his photos.

Oh, my, what beautiful statues. I think I need that clock in my front lawn to keep me on time. That is fun. The streets look so different, so narrow! I love the dress, wish I had that trim figure for one, shopping is always fun, and love the monkey! I guess that is the equivalent to our park squirrels? Thanks for sharing the really neat pictures. I know I sure enjoy them!
Blessings,
Susie

Your son took some wonderful photos on his adventure!

It was an outstanding week of talent at Rook No. 17. Thank you for being a part of the creative energy and spirit that gives “A Little Birdie Told Me…” wings. Hope to see you again at this week’s party!
